Code of Conduct
The PRINTING United Alliance and the PRINTING United EXPO (Show) are committed to equal treatment, rights and respect for everyone. We do not tolerate the expression of prejudice, or bullying or intimidation or harassment, and we are committed to providing all Show participants, including our employees, members, contractors, Show staff and volunteers, with an environment that is free from harassment or offensive behavior in any form.
Harassment takes many forms, and may be, but is not limited to: words, signs, jokes, pranks, intimidation, physical contact, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, stalking, other verbal or physical contact of a sexual nature, vulgar or abusive language, or violence as related to race, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation or any other classification protected by local, state or federal laws. Offensive behavior includes words and/or actions which a reasonable person would deem offensive.
The PRINTING United EXPO will not tolerate harassment of or by anyone during our Shows. Any conduct toward another person that is intimidating, hostile, offensive and/or unlawful is prohibited. Any person engaging in such conduct will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include, but is not limited to, termination of your PRINTING United Alliance or NAPCO Media employment, termination of your work as a contractor; revocation of your PRINTING United Alliance membership; immediate expulsion from the Show, with no recourse for lost revenue or reimbursement for fees or expenses of any nature paid or incurred to attend, exhibit during, or sponsor the event, and/or ineligibility for future shows; and such other actions as we may deem appropriate under the circumstances. We will not hesitate to involve Show, Facility and/or hotel security, or local law enforcement, as needed.
PRINTING United Alliance & NAPCO Media employees should follow our employee handbook procedures for reporting harassment. Anyone else who believes that they have been the subject of any form of harassment or who has witnessed the harassment of another, should immediately report such conduct to Show Management. Anyone submitting a complaint must be acting in good faith and have reasonable grounds for believing the information disclosed indicates a violation of this policy. Any allegation that proves to have been made maliciously or when known to be false, will be viewed as a serious offense, subject to the same disciplinary actions as noted above.
We will promptly investigate, and/or assist with the investigation of, all reports of harassment and will keep the identity of the covered person(s) making the report and all aspects of the report and investigation confidential to the greatest extent possible, bearing in mind that due process will require disclosure of the nature of the claim to the accused in the course of the investigation of alleged violations. We, in cooperation with Show security and local law enforcement, will take appropriate action(s) to remedy substantiated complaints.
Retaliation against anyone who in good faith reports an alleged violation of this policy will not be tolerated. Anyone who retaliates against someone who submits a complaint in good faith is subject to discipline, up to and including termination of PRINTING United Alliance or NAPCO Media employment/engagement, loss of position and/or revocation of PRINTING United Alliance membership.
Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all. We look forward to seeing you at the Show!
